  • Arrivals / departures

    The arrival time is fixed at 5:00 p.m. and the departure time at 11:00 a.m.

  • Reservation

    • The reservation is confirmed only when a down payment equivalent to 20% of the total rental fee is received and when the rental contract is signed. The balance of the payment is due thirty (30) days before the first day of rental.
    • If the reservation is made less than thirty (30) days before the first day of rental, payment must be made in full.
    • NSF checks and / or non-payment of rent (not released funds or check (s) not received (s)) result in the automatic cancellation of the reservation and any monies received will be kept by the lessor in damages and interests.
    • The rental contract must be signed by the tenant and returned to the lessor within 5 working days of being received along with the sums established in the clause CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT, or the contract will be null and void without further notice from the lessor.
    • Online payment (Visa-Master-Card).
    • A minimum pre-authorize $750  will be charged on credit card, the day of your arrival, as a deposit on the unit. If broken, uncleanliness in the unit or if the regulations are not respected, the security deposit, full or partial, can be retained without notice. If everything is in order, the security deposit will be released within 7-10 days after verification of the unit bythe maintenance department.
    • For last minute reservation, you must speak to a rental agent at 1-888-435-5107 before the reservation is confirmed.
  • Cancellation

    Cancellation must be submitted in writing by email ahead of time to the owner and / or to the rental agency.

    • If the cancellation notice is received at least 31 days before the rental starting date, the down payment of 20% , 30% or 50% (it depends on the residence) will not be returned in lieu of damages and the balance won’t be debited from your credit card.
    • When the cancellation notice is received less than 30 days before the rental starting date, all sums received will be kept in lieu of damages.
    • At any time, if there is a cancellation, there will be a maximum reservation fee of 5 % which will be charged to you, calculated on the basis of the deposit or the total amount paid for your stay.

The space is a lovely apartment above the owners' house (2nd floor). It's very comfortable, superbly equipped for cooking your own meals, with everything you need and even more than at home. The balcony overlooks the river, which is very pleasant, and includes a table, chairs, and a BBQ (though there were mosquitoes at this time of year). There's air conditioning, satellite TV, and the owners are incredibly kind and discreet. Parking is also available. In short, an excellent stay. The only downside was the bed being a bit too soft for our liking. It's a 14-minute drive to Baie-Saint-Paul, and there are many places to visit in the surrounding area. We spent six days exploring the region, using this base from morning till night. There are activities for everyone. Make sure you have good brakes, as there are many hills. We were very happy with our experience at COR 254, Petite Rivière-Saint-François, and we would definitely return and highly recommend it. I loved the paintings in the bedroom and living room, very typical of Charlevoix, magnificent.

The chalet is very nice and very functional. The only downside is that the grounds hadn't been maintained before our stay; the grass was too long and the lawn wasn't cut, so it would have been cleaner and more pleasant to enjoy the outdoors.

Chalet in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François (TOR-1049) The chalet was spotless, a very large house, and well located. It was within walking distance of the village grocery/convenience store, the canteen, the park/splash pad, the beach, the wharf—basically everything. I loved that EVERYTHING was provided. I felt like I was staying in someone else's home. I've rented chalets before, and they've never been this well organized. I loved being able to have my coffee on the upstairs terrace overlooking the river. It's also very close to the ski resort for those who want a chalet to go to Le Massif. I highly recommend it!
