Over two centuries old and built of stone alongside a waterfall, Le Vieux Moulin du Ruisseau Michel is an historical site. Artist Jean-François Racine, his muse and his family have dedicated a number of years to its preservation. This is your opportunity to live in the miller's cozy homestead, located on the  upper floor over the mill. An intimate setting inherited from our ancestors, it's under a kilometre from the downtown core and the Baie-Saint-Paul golf course. Its owners have carefully preserved its precious ancestral cachet, pairing it with all of today's amenities and comforts.

  • Arrivals / departures

    The arrival time is fixed at 5:00 p.m. and the departure time at 11:00 a.m.

  • Reservation

    • The reservation is confirmed only when a down payment equivalent to 20% of the total rental fee is received and when the rental contract is signed. The balance of the payment is due thirty (30) days before the first day of rental.
    • If the reservation is made less than thirty (30) days before the first day of rental, payment must be made in full.
    • NSF checks and / or non-payment of rent (not released funds or check (s) not received (s)) result in the automatic cancellation of the reservation and any monies received will be kept by the lessor in damages and interests.
    • The rental contract must be signed by the tenant and returned to the lessor within 5 working days of being received along with the sums established in the clause CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT, or the contract will be null and void without further notice from the lessor.
    • Online payment (Visa-Master-Card).
    • A minimum pre-authorize $300  will be charged on credit card, the day of your arrival, as a deposit on the unit. If broken, uncleanliness in the unit or if the regulations are not respected, the security deposit, full or partial, can be retained without notice. If everything is in order, the security deposit will be released within 7-10 days after verification of the unit bythe maintenance department.
    • For last minute reservation, you must speak to a rental agent at 1-888-435-5107 before the reservation is confirmed.
  • Cancellation

    Cancellation must be submitted in writing by email ahead of time to the owner and / or to the rental agency.

    • If the cancellation notice is received at least 31 days before the rental starting date, the down payment of 20% , 30% or 50% (it depends on the residence) will not be returned in lieu of damages and the balance won’t be debited from your credit card.
    • When the cancellation notice is received less than 30 days before the rental starting date, all sums received will be kept in lieu of damages.
    • At any time, if there is a cancellation, there will be a maximum reservation fee of 5 % which will be charged to you, calculated on the basis of the deposit or the total amount paid for your stay.

Wonderful chalet, very comfortable. We appreciate the bathrooms in each room. The rental agency was very helpful with our TV connection problem. Well located for skiing in the massif. We will return and recommend the place. Small recommendation for the bathroom on the ground floor. Add a shower telephone and a shower curtain to the bath so you can take a shower there.

Very beautiful chalet, the owners were very accommodating and we had a great weekend, thank you very much! We have the impression of being alone in the world, very peaceful with a magnificent view. 2 small negative points: the pillows in the basement rooms were very uncomfortable and although we loved having the pool table on the first floor the addition of a small dinner table would be great! Otherwise, nothing to complain about, it was really good!
