All new reservations can now be canceled and fully reimbursed at any time if the public authorities do not allow access to the Charlevoix region and / or prohibit the rental of tourist homes.

  • Arrivals / departures

    • The arrival time is set at 17:00 in all buildings. As for the departure time, it can vary from one building to another, eithet 11:00 or noon, please refer to your leasing agreement for details.

     

  • Reservation

    • The reservation is confirmed only when a down payment equivalent to 20% of the total rental fee is received and when the rental contract is signed. The balance of the payment is due thirty (30) days before the first day of rental.
    • If the reservation is made less than thirty (30) days before the first day of rental, payment must be made in full.
    • NSF checks and / or non-payment of rent (not released funds or check (s) not received (s)) result in the automatic cancellation of the reservation and any monies received will be kept by the lessor in damages and interests.
    • The rental contract must be signed by the tenant and returned to the lessor within 5 working days of being received along with the sums established in the clause CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT, or the contract will be null and void without further notice from the lessor.
    • Online payment (Visa-Master-Card).
    • A minimum pre-authorize $750  will be charged on credit card, the day of your arrival, as a deposit on the unit. If broken, uncleanliness in the unit or if the regulations are not respected, the security deposit, full or partial, can be retained without notice. If everything is in order, the security deposit will be released after verification of the unit bythe maintenance department.
  • Cancellation

    Cancellation must be submitted in writing by email ahead of time to the owner and / or to the rental agency.

    • If the cancellation notice is received at least 31 days before the rental starting date, the down payment of 20% , 30% or 50% (it depends on the residence) will not be returned in lieu of damages and the balance won’t be debited from your credit card.
    • When the cancellation notice is received less than 30 days before the rental starting date, all sums received will be kept in lieu of damages.
    • If service fees are charged, these are not refundable.
    • Cancellation due to COVID-19: The stay can be canceled and reimbursed in full at any time if the public authorities do not allow access to the region or if they have confined the region of the tenant or if they prohibit the rental of tourist homes. Full reimbursement can only be made for stays that have not yet started.
